’08 precipitation falls slightly below average

RBC — Precipitation at the plant center recently measured 1.56 inches and included 14.0 inches of snow.
That is substantially above the monthly average of 1.12 inches. However, for the year, 15.99 inches of precipitation were measured which is 1.2 percent below the longtime average of 16.19 inches. 2008 was the first year since 2004 that we have not exceeded the average (16.19) for the year. Snow in 2008 measured 94.0 inches and was more than 2007 when 78.0 inches were measured.
