10th annual Buy-Fly White Fish Tournament is March 15-16

MEEKER I The White River Community Association is hosting its 10th annual Buy-Fly White Fish Tournament on March 15 and 16, and organizers are seeking teams of interested fisher-folks to join the fun.
The purpose of the tournament is three-fold: raise money for the sustainability of the historic Buford School; secure the white fish for the annual Community Fish Fry held in June each year; and to provide a fun, competitive opportunity for the community.
There is a 12-team limit for this two-day event, and prizes are awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams in addition to the high-point individual.
Teams consist of four persons and the entry fee is $100 per person.
