Grand Junction Homeward Bound Shelter on North Avenue from 6-9 p.m.
n June 30: Grand Junction Homeless Day Shelter on Ute Avenue from 8 a.m. to 12 noon; law enforcement/firefighters briefings 1-5 p.m.
The VBA is the branch of the Department of Veterans Affairs that controls such programs as compensation and pension, survivors’ benefits, veterans’ home loans, vocational rehabilitation and the various GI education bills, among other programs.
If inclement weather prevents the visit, the representative will reschedule for a later date.
