MEEKER — The community is invited to enjoy the many talents and accomplishments of our local and area crafters Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds.
It’s a great time to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays and handmade decorations for your family. Show times on Friday are 4-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Ladies Social Club of Meeker sponsors this yearly event.
We have a large number of vendors this year. There will be a wide variety of quality gifts, home decor and holiday decorations. Vendors will be selling handmade jewelry, Silpada jewelry, wooden toys, clothing, Christmas crafts and decorations, gift bags and baskets, mosaic pieces, baked goods, crafting supplies, handmade gift cards, lamps, scrubbies, baking mixes, original artwork, cook books, quilts, pillows, bath and body products, books, crocheted and knitted items, crocheted rugs, ceramics, candles, soaps, aprons, collectibles, wreaths and so much more.
Meeker High School students traveling to Greece this year will serve food both Friday evening and Saturday to help fund their educational trip. Plan plenty of time for browsing, shopping, and while you’re there, support this very worthwhile youth group by letting them serve you a home cooked meal.
Please attend our annual craft show this weekend. You can do your Christmas shopping as you support our talented local crafters, see friends and have a meal out. Treats will be on hand for all trick or treaters.
