*Arena and track closed until 5 p.m.*
5 p.m. – Ranch Horse Roping Events
6 p.m. – Team Roping (Entries taken from 5-6 p.m.)

7 a.m. – Late entries accepted- $10 late fee. Entries for each additional class will be taken up until the start of the previous class. (Example: Entries for class 26 will be taken until the announcers call for the start of class 25.) Switching or adding classes will incur a $5 fee for each change regardless of when the original entry occurred.
8:30 a.m. – Horse Show & Ranch Horse Competition
4 p.m. – All horse show entries close at this time.

COLORADO DAY – OFFICE CLOSED

*Scales closed until time of official weigh-in.*
9 a.m. – Dog Show
10 a.m. – Dog Agility (baseball field)
12 p.m. – Begin Booth assembly
5:00PM- All entries for Cake Decorating Contest- 4-H and Open due today!
7 p.m. – Open class Goats, Poultry and Rabbits may be stalled.*
7 p.m. – Beef, Sheep, Swine and Goats may be bedded at this time.*
*Cannot be stalled before completion of the dog show.
10 p.m. – Booth assembly completed

7–9 a.m. – Entries taken for 4-H general projects.
All entries are due by 9 a.m.
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – 4-H Exhibit Day- Interview judging-
Exhibit Hall closed.
2 p.m. – All Market Animals must be stalled at this time.
2 p.m. –8 p.m. Meeker Open Photography participants are encouraged to be entered at this time.
3–4 p.m. – Goat and Sheep Weigh-In & Ultrasound
4–6 p.m. – Beef Weigh-in and Ultrasound. Beef brand inspection must be present.
5:30 p.m. — Supreme Sheep and Goat Award Interviews
6 p.m. – Swine Weigh-in and Ultrasound. NOTE: Times may be adjusted. Ultrasound explanation will occur during or after each species.
6–8 p.m. – Indoor Exhibits accepted.
8 p.m. – All rabbits and poultry caged.

11 a.m. – Rabbit classes followed by Poultry classes (Market classes will show first)
12 p.m. – Baled Hay Contest Judging
12 p.m. – INDOOR SILENT AUCTION BEGINS!
1 p.m. – Goat 4-H/FFA Showmanship classes followed by Market Classes & Open Classes
1 p.m. – Breeding Sheep stalled
2 p.m. – Sheep Lead Practice
3–4 p.m. – Release excess baked goods
5–7 p.m. – 4-H Pork BBQ
6 p.m. – Swine 4-H/FFA Market classes.
6–9 p.m. – Exhibit Halls are open for viewing.

3:30–5:15 p.m. – Lions Club BBQ sponsored by First National Bank of the Rockies/Rangely (under grandstands)
5:15 p.m. – Presale Awards/Activities (Indoor Arena)
5:30 p.m. – Music Entertainment
5:30 p.m. — Bake Sale
6 p.m. — INDOOR SILENT AUCTION CLOSES
6 p.m. – 4-H/FFA Jr. Livestock Sale
6 p.m. – Non-Sale 4-H animals released.
6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Release Premiums & Indoor Exhibits (including wool fleece)

SUNDAY, AUG. 9
7 a.m. – Load out remaining animals


MONDAY, AUG. 10: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – 4-H and Open class premiums available in either the Meeker or Rangely Extension Office. If you cannot make it to either office by this time you may call and make arrangements to have your premiums held. No premiums will be handed out past 5 p.m. on Tuesday the 5th unless prior arrangements have been made.


TUESDAY, AUG. 18: Thank you notes: All Junior Livestock Sale animal thank-you notes are due in the Extension Office(s) by 5 p.m. and must fit into a 5”x7” envelope for mailing. All livestock checks can be picked up on this day. A completed 4-H record book and thank you note must be turned in before you receive your check.


MONDAY, AUG. 24: 5 p.m. – Completed 4-H Livestock, Dog and Horse Record Books due to the Extension Office. Wholesome Quality Meat Assurance Forms are due with record books. Livestock Sale Add-on checks (including ultrasound monies) will be available starting on this day. You must have submitted a completed record book(s) and buyer thank you notes(s). (This includes thank you notes to Ultrasound and Sale Add-on contributors.)

Any premiums not picked up Saturday, Aug. 8 or Monday, Aug. 10 will be forfeited.
