Snider claims insanity, pleads not guilty in killing of father
RANGELY I Jerry Snider Jr., charged with killing his father over the Fourth of July weekend, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity Friday in district court.
Workgroup will organize info, options
MEEKER I More than a dozen residents and business owners attended a special meeting of the town board of trustees Tuesday. On the agenda? The town’s plan to establish a workgroup to “gather information and talk about ideas” for the future of the 70-year-old Meeker Elementary School building.
Gene Scritchfield remembered on anniversary today
Today is the one-year anniversary of when Meeker lost one of its favorite sons. Gene Scritchfield, the well-known Meeker outfitter and rancher, died in a tractor rollover accident one year ago today. He was only 38.
Herrera~Hines wedding
