MEEKER I The Meeker 4-H Council met Wednesday, April 4 after school. A great turn-out of seventeen members were in attendance to make plans and generate community pride ideas for the summer.

Wagon Wheel Trail receives grant
RBC I The Wagon Wheel Trail, a collaborative effort by several Rio Blanco County entities, were notified recently the project has been awarded a $100,862 grant from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Division (CPW) Trails program for the off-highway vehicle trail system.

Donald G. Jackett passed away in Montrose Memorial Hospital on April 19, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born in Genoa, Colo., on Feb. 19, 1938 to George G. and Elsie I. Fisher Jackett.
