The Colorado Space Business Roundtable (CSBR) and RBC Economic Development set up bottle rocket launches at Paintbrush Park and provided aerospace-related educational materials and free popsicles for about 40 Meeker kiddos July 8. CSBR “seeks to promote the growth of space and space-related industries in Colorado,” according to their website.

On July 6, the Wagon Wheel OHV Club in cooperation with the Blanco Ranger District of the U.S. Forest Service installed a sign at the intersection of Forest Road 263 and Forest Service Trail 2633 dedicating the Alvin Jones Memorial Trail.
