RBC I The Wyman Museum was full of fishing and shooting events on July 1. More than 70 participants showed up family-style for the activities and free barbecue lunch prepared by Northwest Colorado Outfitters. Fly-fishing and bait fishing was good as most bagged at least a fish or two throughout the day. Families shot .22 rifles and practiced archery during the day, some for the very first time. Local resident Howdy Davis also showed how mountain men lived in the area. Colorado Parks and Wildlife hosts the event to introduce folks to outdoor sports and includes instruction from local officers and CPW staff.
