MEEKER — The beef club held its monthly meeting on April 9. The beef club invited Clint Shults to give a demonstration on ultrasound on a beef steer. Shults gave a presentation on the facts of beef on the ultrasound. Shults passed out data on ultrasounds on the 2007 4-H beefs that were sold to help members understand ultrasounds better. Speaking for the beef club, we really appreciated Mr. Shults’ presentation on ultrasounds.
On July 31, the 4-H Outdoor Adventure group joined with the Bureau of Land Management to install a sign and bench on the Dorcas-Jensen/BLM Trail above Meeker.
