RBC | The Rio Blanco County 4-H state judging team members were Stacey Fitzgibbons, Morgan Neilson, Colter Otwell and Maclaine Shults.
They competed against 13 other senior judging teams from across Colorado, plus 14 additional outstanding Colorado 4-H livestock judging individuals.
The team actually tied for third overall, but lost the tie to Boulder County by a mere four points. The tie was broken in the reasons room.
The Rio Blanco County 4-H team was the high overall team in the swine division. They were fourth in the reasons division, fourth in placings, sixth in sheep and 10th overall in beef.
Stacey was the top judge from Rio Blanco County. She finished eighth overall, 10th in sheep, sixth in placings and 15th in reasons.
Congratulations go to Stacey as she will be honored at the Colorado State Fair in August for finishing the season as the sixth overall senior 4-H livestock judge in Colorado.
Morgan placed fifth in swine and Maclaine was 10th in swine as well.
