4-H Club News: Sheep and Goat

MEEKER | The first Sheep and Goat 4-H Club meeting of the year was Jan. 5. To start off, Morgan Neilson called the meeting to order. Taylor Neilson gave last year’s treasurer’s report. Morgan called roll. We did an ice breaker to introduce ourselves. Macy Collins got an award for getting all of the reports published last year. The meetings will be held the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. Members have to attend 50 percent of the meetings to sell. Next, we elected offficers: president is Morgan Neilson, vice president is Taylor Neilson, secretary is Aly Ridings, treasurer is Mason Scritchfield, reporter is Macy Collins, pledge leaders are all first-year members, council representatives are Makenna Kummer, Kelsie Gross, Caleb Dodds and Braydin Henderson. We talked about making blankets for our club. The next meeting will be Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds exhibit hall.
