4-H Horse Club News

MEEKER I In this week’s horse 4-H meeting we did some of the patterns that we have to do in fair. We also walked the arena, a bridge and a couple of logs. We also made figure eights in the arena and did a lot of other work in the arena. There are four members and three leaders. The four members are Sydney, Maggie, Tristan and Madison. The three leaders are Miss Jensen, Mrs. Scritchfield and Mrs. Coryell. I hope you all like what I wrote today.
4-H Shooting Sports does well at Delta

MEEKER I Congratulations to RBC Shooting Sports members Joe Newman and Bradi Bland for a stellar showing at the Delta County Invitational Shoot on June 25.
Bradi scored a 252 in the intermediate .22 hunt class earning first place. Joe scored a 40 and Bradi a 45 in intermediate shotgun trap shooting, earning them third and first places respectively. Both boys outshot the 2010 shotgun trap state champion in Delta so we are pretty excited to see how the rest of the year plays out for these young marksmen.
