Reciprocating Engines and Compressors Maintain and troubleshoot all related subsystems which include: starting, stopping, shutdowns, and combustion controls
Responsible for the maintenance of all meter stations, pipeline facilities, corrosion, and right of ways (ROW)
Handle facility encroachment activities which include pipe location,
excavation, and inspection which result from one-call notifications and/or direct calls.
Interact with technical services, government agencies, emergency planning committees, emergency responders, landowners, and contractors
Qualifications:
A Successful candidate must
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must live within fifteen (15) miles of Rangely, Colorado
Be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations nights, and weekend shifts
Provide the ability to work both in a team setting and as an individual with minimal supervision
Possess a valid state driving license and an excellent driving record
Demonstrate safety as the utmost priority
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to work with government agencies, landowners, and contractors
Participate in Williams’ Operations Development Plan (ODP)
Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PC Skills
Be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods of time
Be able to carry and lift items that can weigh 50lbs or more

Lifeguards: The ERBM Recreation & Park District is seeking applications for two part time non-benefited, year round lifeguards, who could work up to 24 hours per week. Lifeguards are trained professional rescuers who ensure the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in and out of the aquatic facility. This position will start as primarily a daytime shift, but candidates must also be available for, early morning, evening, split and/or weekend shifts. crawl stroke and breast stroke, perform a brick dive in the deep end of the pool and tread water for 2 minutes. Candidates do not need to hold a lifeguard certification card as we will train selected candidates on site.
Lifeguards are also responsible for performing maintenance and inspection of the facility on a daily basis; reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor(s); monitoring pool water chemistry and filling out required records and reports. Mobley will play in All State games. Coach Klark Kindler was named Western Slope Coach of the Year. Left to right: Bryan Rosas, Simonsen, Quinn, Fitzgibbons, Mobley and Sullivan.

  • Mormon crickets have hatched near Rangely. They were all sighted on BLM land north of Hwy. 64 near the junction of CR 96 and CR 1, down a dirt road near the Moffat County line.  The picture shown was taken yesterday by Mary Meinen from Rangely. She says the crickets are about the size of a ladybug (less than 1/2”). Some of them are actually yellow in color but most of them are darker. They are milling around and getting ready to start moving soon. Note: Photo is not to scale.
Rio Blanco County and the White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts are still asking for your help to identify additional hatch-outs of crickets so that control efforts can be put in place. The success of the program will highly depend upon local landowners and the public helping to locate crickets as soon as they hatch.  See last week’s paper for a list of ways to help or contact the County Weed & Pest District at 970-878-9670 or the Conservation District office at 970-878-9838 with any questions.
