A good crowd was on hand on Feb. 6 for the annual meeting and dinner of the Rio Blanco County Stockgrowers Association, which was held at the Freeman E. Fairfield Center in downtown Meeker. Several local, county, state and federal agencies were represented at the dinner as the various entities from the county commissioners to area representatives of the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service told group members about what is planned for 2016 and what changes may be in store for the stockgrowers in the area.
