The pink flamingos have enjoyed visiting many homes and businesses over the last several weeks in an effort to help the Colorado Northwestern Community College Foundation raise funds for the college’s 50th anniversary celebration. Here, they recently visited the Silver Sage RV and Mobile Home Park. This particular colony of flamingos included Tim, Horton, Chester, April, Ruth, Jesse, May, Lindy, Tuesday and Roger. They finished their rounds yesterday, but they’ve been impressed with the generosity and warmth of the people they’ve met. Therefore, all of the flamingos have decided to make Rangely their new habitat and will be looking for permanent homes. If you would like to adopt one or many, they are only asking for a small adoption fee of $10 a bird (or any donation you’d like). Please call 970-675-3271 or 970-675-3227 to be put on the adoption list, and the flamingos will find their way to your home.
