RBC | The Colorado Space Business Roundtable (CSBR) is conducting an Aerospace Business Development Road Trip throughout western Colorado. CSBR is traveling to four communities to share how the aerospace industry benefits every community in Colorado.
Why does aerospace matter to Colorado communities? How can local businesses become aerospace suppliers? Learn about educational aerospace programs for students. Interviews are available upon request the day of the event.
Multiple events including a pilot program hanger tour, plane rides, drone exhibition, student panel and aviation maintenance program tour.
As the aerospace industry in Colorado continues to grow, CSBR is committed to spreading knowledge of the industry’s positive local impact, highlighting opportunities for Colorado suppliers to get involved and providing STEM opportunities for students and educators. It spreads this message through frequent roundtable discussions with Colorado stakeholders and road trips around the state.
This year’s trip will travel to Meeker, Rangely, Grand Junction and Snowmass Village. Local partners include CLUB 20, Associated Governments of Northwest Colrorado, Delta Chamber and Colorado Public Radio. There will be opportunities to meet with local businesses that are interested in becoming a supplier or subcontractor to the larger aerospace companies.
The 2014, 2015 and 2016 road trips included programs all throughout Colorado. Outcomes of the road trips have resulted in small businesses from around the state doing business with each other.
