RBC | Jeff Schuster, president of Ennovate, of Aurora, right, conducted an energy audit July 15 of the Rio Blanco County Courthouse, Fairfield Community Center and senior apartments, the 4-H Extension building at the fairgrounds and the road and bridge building. Energy audits of the county’s western annex and Radino Senior Center in Rangely will be conducted next month. The town of Meeker will also use Ennovate for an energy audit. Pat Hooker, county administrator, escorted representatives of Ennovate around the county buildings. Ennovate will compile a list of energy improvements and costs. “They do what is called a performance contract, where they guarantee the payback that the county will realize with the energy savings,” Hooker said.
