The Meeker Herald — 100 years ago Two of Charley Thompson’s boys were out hunting Saturday at their ranch on Sulpher Creek, north of town, and in some unaccountable manner the youngest got a 22-calibre bullet direct in one of his eyes. He was immediately brought in and medical aid summoned.
