Bicycling for Habitat…

phMKBikeRidersTravelThroughMeekerThis flag-bearing bicyclist was one of 32 young adults peddling across the country from South Carolina to California, stopping every four or five days to do a building project such as Habitat for Humanity.

The group raised its own money for the trip to pay expenses, and the group, which was fed and housed at United Methodist Church in Meeker on Monday night, had just completed a project in Carbondale and members were on their way to Salt Lake City, via Vernal, for the next project.
