BLM extends Jarvie Ranch Fest invitations

VERNAL, Utah I The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office invites the community to attend the Annual Jarvie Ranch Family Fest at the historical John Jarvie Ranch in Browns Park. The Jarvie Fest will be held on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
The sights and sounds of the late 1880s will entertain visitors to the historical ranch. There will be activities for all ages such as live music, cowboy poetry, mountain man camp, raptors, horse-drawn wagon rides, rope making, leather crafts, etc. There is no entrance fee and no charge for the day’s activities.
Make up an old-fashioned picnic basket and bring along a blanket and stretch out on the grass at the Jarvie Ranch. Listen to the music and take a stroll around the historical buildings. Enjoy a $5 lunch served by the Browns Hole Homemaker’s Club.
