BMS, RMS girls open season at home

RBC I Middle school basketball girls in Meeker and Rangely will open their seasons at home Saturday.
The Rangely Panthers will host Steamboat Springs, starting at 9 a.m. The eighth-grade team will put their undefeated junior high record to the test with coaches Mark Skelton and Jeremy Lorhy. The seventh-grade girls will be coached by Jess Fortunato and Rozilynn Witherall, who are eager to begin another successful season.
The Meeker teams host Craig on Saturday with games scheduled to start at 9 a.m. The eighth-grade girls are coached by Kris Casey and the seventh-grade girls are coached by Tom Knowles. The coaches are extremely excited about the outstanding participation of both grades this season as there are nearly 40 kids out for the two teams. They are certainly ready to test their skills on Saturday.
