MEEKER — Meeker resident Dr. Bob Dorsett presented Meeker’s board of trustees with a list of potential alternatives to the Second Street extension compiled from discussions by the members of the Sulphur Creek neighborhood group.
The feasibility of extending Second Street from its current intersection with Garfield Street to Market Street is currently being studied by the town’s engineer.
“We hope you would consider these (alternatives) in your discussions,” Dorsett said.
Meeker Mayor Mandi Etheridge reassured Dorsett that the town has not finalized any plans, nor applied for funding, regarding the Second Street project.
