Girls’ Little League…
The Meeker 7 to 11 girls’ Little League fast pitch softball season ended June 14 with a 9-1 record.
MHS wrestling camp…
Eleven Meeker wrestlers competed in the Paonia Summer Duals, and many wrestled more than 12 matches during the two-day event, which featured 4A and 5A teams from Colorado along with teams from Nebraska, Arizona and New Mexico.

Ducey, Elam win 2-man scramble at Meeker Golf Course
MEEKER I Two scramble golf tournaments were recently held on the Meeker Golf Course: Berry Brothers’ annual company tournament, and the men’s two-man scramble was played the next day, May 18.

The Meeker Community Wrestling Club recently completed its youth wrestling program, posing for a group photo.

Cowboys break school records at state track and field
MEEKER I “Overall, we had a great season and a solid state meet,” Meeker High School track coach John Strate said. “We saw four school records broken this season and three of them were at the state meet.
Season ends for Meeker, excited about the future
MEEKER I For the first time in several years, the Meeker Cowboy baseball team advanced to post-season play. And although the Dolores Bears ended the Cowboys’ season with a 3-2 win in Cortez in the first round of the 2A state playoffs, Meeker coaches are excited about the future.
