RHS Panthers wrestle in Utah
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers wrestling team ended the 2012 portion of the wrestling season with two dual meets in Utah before Christmas break and will cross the state line again when they return in 2013 to wrestle in the Tournament of Champions in Vernal, Utah, starting Jan. 11, 2013.
Rangely girls win two last weekend on home court
RANGELY I Rangely High School girls’ basketball coach Quinton Kent credited his team’s most recent wins to their defense. The lady Panthers defeated the North Park Wildcats last Thursday, then defeated the Little Snake River Rattlers Friday last. Both were home games.

RANGELY I The Panther wrestling team continues to be short wrestlers due to illness and injuries but seven team members did travel to Kremmling for the annual West Grand High School invitational and two returned with medals.
Panthers split home games vs. Wildcats, Rattlers
RANGELY I The Panthers boys’ basketball team defeated the North Park Wildcats 47-38 last Thursday in its first home game but then lost to the Little Snake River Rattlers 44-48 the following day. The Panthers will not play again until Jan. 11, 2013, a non-league game in Paonia.

RHS Panthers place six wrestlers
RANGELY I With only half of the 14 varsity weights filled last Saturday in Oak Creek, the Panther wrestling team placed six of its seven varsity wrestlers in the top three, including one champion, and placed fourth as a team in the Soroco Invitational.

RANGELY I The lady Panthers basketball team played two games in the Basin Challenge last weekend in Duchesne, Utah, where they beat the host team but lost to Altamont.
