Panthers wrestle in two states before Christmas break
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers wrestling team first traveled west to Altamont, Utah, for two dual meets before turning around and heading east across Colorado to wrestle Wray in a dual, before competing in the Bob Smith Invitational on Saturday.
Ladies fall to North Park
RANGELY I The Rangely High School girls’ basketball team had a solid fourth quarter against North Park and found even scoring from their entire team, but the squad could not overcome a first-quarter deficit and lost to Wildcats in Walden, 42-34, on Saturday.
Panthers end 2013 with 2 wins
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers boys’ basketball team ended the 2013 part of the basketball season with two wins, and they are looking forward to the stretch in 2014.
RHS Panthers place six in Oak Creek
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers wrestling team traveled to Oak Creek to compete in the South Routt County (Soroco) Invitational Tournament and six of the grapplers placed in the top four.
Panthers win WREA Cowboy Shootout tournament
RANGELY I Some have said, “It’s not how you start, but how you finish.” The Rangely boys’ basketball team started slowly in the first round of the 2013 White River Electric Association Cowboy Shootout but came together as a team to beat the host in the championship game.
Lady Panthers play in Wyoming today
RANGELY I The Rangely girls’ basketball team will play Snake River tonight in Baggs, Wyo. The last time the two teams met resulted in a very close 32-35 loss by Rangely, so the Panthers are working toward a better outcome this time.
