RANGELY I The Rangely Panther football team lost its season opener to Dove Creek, a semi-finalist team in 2012, on Friday at home and they will host the Plateau Valley Cowboys this Friday on Yeager Field.

All-state football
The 2013 Colorado 6/8-man all-state football game will take place May 31 at La Junta High School’s Tiger Stadium. Rangely’s Chas Byerly was nominated by league coaches and selected to play in the game showcasing Colorado seniors.

RANGELY I The Rangely Panther football team will enter the Colorado state playoffs on a three-game winning streak after defeating South Park 50-26 in the final game of the regular season last Friday at home on Yaeger Field.

RANGELY I With a 54-7 win over the Soroco Rams last Friday on Yaeger Field in Rangely, the Panther football team secured a playoff berth and will host South Park in the final game of the regular season this Friday.
RHS beats Vail Christian 30-6
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers football team won their third game of the season with a 30-6 win over the Vail Christian Saints, who were undefeated until the Panthers came marching in.
Panthers lose home game
RANGELY I The Panther football team lost 30-69 to the Hayden Tigers last Friday on Yaeger Field in Rangely for their second league loss of the season.
Panthers lose on the road
RANGELY I The game was close and the lead changed each quarter but at the end of the fourth, the West Grand Mustangs defended their home field, earning a 42-35 victory over the Rangely Panthers.
