Arguably the hardest working athletes at Meeker High School, definitely the most cheerful, the MHS cheerleading squad practices two hours a day, four days a week, starting in the fall and cheering at all home events, then traveling to state competitions. The squad grew to 12 girls this year and is led by head coach Becky Ridings. “Antina Dibenedetto and Beth Bennett come in a couple of hours a week to work on stunting and jumps with the girls and they both are amazing,” Ridings said of her assistant coaches.
