After some tough sled racing, it was time for everyone to refill their tanks with a hot dog/chili lunch served by Wendll’s. There were hot drinks, hot dogs, chili with or without onions and sour cream, chips, cornbread and chocolate chip cookies, which filled up most of the space created with the activities of the morning races. The sun was shining on most of the event and it seemed like everyone was having fun.
MEEKER I The Bureau of Land Management led local kids ages 9 to 11 from the East Rio Blanco Meeker Recreation Center on a service-oriented adventure May 14 to teach kids stewardship.
