PR-04 proposes updates to the Collom Mine expansion area to reflect changes to the mine plan, a reconfiguration of the temporary out of pit stockpile, proposed sediment control measures including additional sediment pond locations, a new facilities layout, and revisions to the permit boundary. SENIOR CITIZEN’S WATER RATE REDUCTION PROGRAM
If you live in a household with one family member who is 64 years or older, as shown by a birth certificate, school records, and military discharge documents or other supporting documentation acceptable to the Town of Meeker, you may qualify for a reduced water rate during the months of May through September. Eligible households receive the first 8,000 gallons of water free each month (a savings of $24.00 per month). Usage over 8,000 gallons per month will be billed at the rate of $1.55 cents per 1,000 gallons. To qualify for the program, the total gross family income for all residents of the household mustbe less than one thousand, six hundred forty five dollars and ninety three cents per month ($1,645.93) or nineteen thousand, seven hundred fifty one dollars and twenty three cents ($19,751.23) per year as evidenced by the federal income tax return/s for all household members for the year 2014. If you are not required to file an income tax return, please provide copies of all non taxable income received by the household for the year 2014. If you have been previously enrolled in this program, the Town has your proof of age on file and will only require that you provide the income tax return or written proof of non-taxable income. In order to quality for the program for the month of May, please provide the town with the required information no later than May 20, 2015. If you miss the May deadline you may qualify for a reduction in June if the required information is filed with the Town no later than June 20, 2015. Notice is hereby given of the filing of a Technical Revision 105 to the Colowyo Coal Mine, Mining Permit No. C-1981-019, by the Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 State Highway 13, Meeker, CO. 81641, with the Colorado Division Reclamation Mining and Safety, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. TR-105 proposed changes to the post-mine topography and revises the surface water hydrology related to topographic changes in the proposed post-mine topography. All of the areas to be affected by this Technical Revision are owned by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., the State of Colorado and the Bureau of Land Management and are located approximately 28 miles south of Craig, Colorado, west of Colorado State Highway 13 and east of Moffat County Road 51. The affected area can be located on U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle map Nos.
