Rio Blanco County is soliciting bids to aerially treat approximately 480 acres of noxious weeds utilizing a helicopter on BLM lands, and for the Piceance Creek Weed and Pest District.

BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS
All persons spraying herbicides must be appropriately licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture for aerial application in the Rangeland Pest Control category. Appropriate proof of licensure must be submitted to the Agreement Administrator concurrently with execution of this Agreement.

BID OPENING
The Rio Blanco County Board of County Commissioners meeting will commence at 11 A.M. Bids shall be opened and read in public soon thereafter as listed on the agenda on April 24, 2017 at the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Department 455 Main Street, Meeker, CO 81641. Bids received after 10:45 A.M. on the date of bid opening shall be returned unopened. Bids submitted and opened shall not be withdrawn for 30 days thereafter.
BID AWARD
The Rio Blanco County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities in bids; and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the County of Rio Blanco, State of Colorado.

Legal notice is hereby given that on March 24th, 2017 a petition was filed (Case no. N17-0021) by Nick Adkinson in the Cascade District Court of Snohomish County, Washington, the object of which is to change a minor child’s last name from Trevor Allen Geary to Trevor Allen Adkinson.
A hearing will be held on said petition before the Honorable Judge Olbrechts at the Cascade Division Courthouse, 415 E. Burke Ave Arlington, WA 98223 on May 12th, 2017 at 8:30 am. Any person has the right to appear at the hearing and file objections, but unless sufficient cause is shown to the contrary, the minor child’s name will be changed from that of Trevor Allen Geary to Trevor Allen Adkinson.

Invitation to Bid
You are hereby invited to bid for the construction of the Town of Meeker Paving Project: 7th Street & 9th Street. This construction project includes the rotomil and overlay of approximately 6,200 linear feet of roadway. The Project Owner is the Town of Meeker. The Project Engineer is Chris Hale, P.F. of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. Glenwood Springs.
A complete set of plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained after March 31, 2017 from the offices of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. (970-945-5544) or at the Meeker Town Hall (970-878-5344) for a deposit of $35. The deposit will be refunded if the set is returned in good condition. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Meeker Town Hall 345 Market Street on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.
Send or deliver the bid proposals to Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street, Meeker, CO 81641 by 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a check in the amount of ten percent of the bid made payable to the Town of Meeker, as bid security, along with three references for similar work. The Bid Proposals and Bid Security should be placed in an envelope, securely sealed and labeled “Bid for Paving Project” . Plans, specifications, and contract documents should be returned with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to change, add, or amend the specifications, to waive any informalities and the right to disregard all non-conforming or conditional bids or counter proposals. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent with the provisions of the Town of Meeker Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual, including but not limited to the Contract-Award-Preference section, which is incorporated herein by this reference and made a part of this “Invitation to Bid.”
