Year 2010 Blasting Schedule Colowyo Coal Company L.P. hereby publishes the following blasting schedule for the 2010 year. 1. Identification of blasting areas: During the 2010 year, blasting will be conducted within the following areas: T3N, R93W, 6th P.M., Moffat and Rio Blanco Counties, Colorado – W1/2 of Section 3, All of Section 4, All of Section 9, W1/2 of Section 10, SW1/4, N1/2 of Section 15, All of Section 16, All of Section 17, All of Section 20, W1/2 of Section 21. T4N, R93W, 6th P.M. Moffat County, Colorado – E1/2W1/2, W1/2E1/2, E1/2SE1/4 of Section 22, W1/2, N1/2NE1/4 of Section 27, E1/2SE1/4 of Section 28, E1/2SW1/4, E1/2 of Section 33, W1/2 of Section 34. 2. Time of blast: Blasting operations will be conducted daily between sunrise and sunset. 3. All mine roads to blast areas will be blocked at least ten minutes prior to the blast by manned vehicles having radio communication with the Blasting Foreman. The blast areas will be cleared by the Blasting Foreman. All mine areas are fenced for livestock. 4. Audible Warning Signals: Before blast signal: Four series of three short sirens, then four series of three long sirens. After blast all clear signal: The Blasting Foreman will check the blast and report the all clear to barricade crews, followed by a single, long siren. 5. Blasting may not be conducted at times different from those announced in this blasting schedule except in emergency situations where rain, lightning, other atmospheric conditions, or Operator or public safety requires unscheduled detonation.
