PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District (“ERBM”), a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, is inviting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the Meeker Trails/China Wall System Expansion located on Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) managed parcel named Lobo Mountain-Lion Canyon-China Wall.

Qualified contractors must submit their bid proposals before 5pm on March 16th, 2018, at ERBM’s administrative office located at 101 Ute Road, Meeker, Colorado 81641; or via email at [email protected]. Bids must be clearly marked “Meeker Trails/China Wall System Expansion”.

This is a guaranteed maximum price construction project. The project is comprised of approximately 4.54-miles of new trail construction over mountainous terrain as approved in the BLM-White River Field Office Environmental Assessment and corresponding Decision Record and Finding of No Significant Impact documents. The approved trail corridor is 50 feet wide from either side of the mapped trails. Trail construction will not commence before July 15th, 2018. THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF RIO BLANCO COUNTY is soliciting proposals to construct and install up to 18 educational kiosks to be located along the Wagon Wheel OHV Trail System in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. Proposal documents are available online at http://www.rbc.us/bids.aspx. County representative for this project is Katelin Cook, Economic Development Coordinator, (970)878-9474. Proposals shall have “Rio Blanco County Wagon Wheel West OHV Trail Educational Kiosk Project – Request for Proposals” written on a sealed envelope. Proposals must be received by 11:00AM, Mountain Standard Time, on March 19, 2018. Do not depend on overnight delivery. Proposals shall be opened and read in public at 11:00AM on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, 17497 Highway 64, Rangely, CO 81648.
