INNVITATION FOR BIDS CLOSING BID DATE MAY 30TH, 2013 TOWN OF MEEKER 345 MARKET STREE MEEKER, CO 81641 Sealed bids are being accepted by the Town of Meeker to construct a stone column entry monument for “UTE PARK”. The column will be constructed of Natural Flagcreek Stone Squares and Rectangles with 1/2 inch joints. The engraving to identify the park name will be chiseled or laser engraved in a 2 ft. by 2 ft. stone of a buff color. There will be a cap stone that measures 45 inches by 45 inches made with Colorado Buff stone 4.5″ thick. The concrete footer for the column will be 5 ft. by 5 ft. set 38 inches below ground level with 5/8 inch rebar tied on 12 inch centers. The total height of the column is 9 feet 4 inches and will be 42 inches square. A metal hanger will be placed on the side of the column during construction to provide for event recognition signage. This metal will extend 3.5 feet from the column. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any and all informalities, and the right to disregard all nonconforming or conditional bids or counter proposals. Contract award and preference will be based upon the Town of Meeker Personnel Policy and Procedures manual, entitled “Bid Required”. The fishing dock will be approximately 19 feet by 20 feet, with an access walkway that will tie into the existing sidewalk.
