The Piceance Creek Unit T35-12G disposal well has been drilled at a location 2,350 feet from the south line and 1,780 feet from the west line of Section 12, Township 2 South, Range 97 West, 6th P.M., Rio Blanco County, Colorado. BACKGROUND – Class II injection wells are permitted and regulated in such a manner as to prevent the contamination of underground sources of drinking water and to ensure fluid emplacement and confinement within the permitted injection zones. Class II injection wells are permitted to inject waste generated from oil and gas exploratory and production operations. ExxonMobil Production Company proposes to dispose of produced water from ExxonMobil Production Company wells located in the Piceance Creek Unit in Rio Blanco County. ExxonMobil Production Company has proposed to inject these fluids into the Wasatch “A” formation in the Piceance Creek Unit T35-12G well through perforations at depths of approximately 2,476-3,004 feet.
