RANGELY I Clayton Gohr, who has previously served on the Rangely Town Council, is once again seeking election to that position in the April election.
“I have served two terms on the council previously and enjoyed the opportunity working with the town council and the citizens of Rangely,” Gohr said.
As to his reasoning to joining the wide field of 10 candidates who are running for three open seats on the council, Gohr said, “I am running for town council because of my interest in the things that are happening or will be happening in and around the town of Rangely.”
Gohr, who grew up in Idaho and now works for Blue Mountain Energy, has lived in Rangely for 37 years, has raised his family locally and is hopeful he can once again serve the town as a trustee.
Gohr said, “I would like to see the town of Rangely continue to improve and be a better place to live.”
He is particularly fond of Rangely’s Septemberfest saying, “I enjoy classic cars and attending car shows. I especially enjoy going to the car show at Rangely`s Septemberfest.”
