CNCC aids food bank…

René Harden of Rangely coordinated the project, then connected with Leana Cox, president of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society for two-year colleges, at Colorado Northwestern Community College. Cox got the PTK members to run the concession stand at CNCC and to make popcorn. The deal was that if someone brought in a non-perishable food item they would receive free popcorn. Cox called the results a success, and the food will be taken to the Rangely Food Bank on Wednesday by Harden, who volunteers there.
