RANGELY I Colorado Northwestern Community College staff met up with local Chevron USA employees at the Rangely Weber Sand Unit last week to review Chevron’s current operation.
CNCC Foundation representative and Western Rio Blanco Recreation District Manager Tim Webber accompanied CNCC staff as they met with Chevron representatives to receive the $20,000 donation announced at the Spring Foundation Dinner Dance in April. Proceeds from the event have been designated by the CNCC Foundation board to go toward the Rector Building remodeling project on the CNCC campus in Rangely.
Chevron Operations Supervisor Luke Allred gave the group a brief update and overview of the operations taking place at the Rangely Weber Sand Unit, just west of the town of Rangely, while production team lead Fletcher Buckler shared his successful experience going through various programs at CNCC.
Artificial lift corrosion representative (ALCR) Robert Lopez offered views on his experience with Chevron and the mutually supportive relationship it shares with the Town of Rangely and CNCC.
