Page Turners book discussion group hosted by Susie Berardi on Tuesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. at the Rangely Public Library. Jan. 22-Feb. 19. The $15 fee includes “comfortable, casual literary discussion” and coffee, tea, and homemade dessert.
Wills and estate planning with instructor Priscilla Rose on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the CNCC Johnson multipurpose room. Jan. 21 to Feb. 4. The $25 class fee gives students an understanding of a will’s advantages and its main parts. Students will also “create a distribution plan of (their) assets, select a trustee and recognize the relative benefits of different types of trusts.”
Scuba I and scuba II with instructor Donna Adams. Scuba I runs Feb. 15-17 in the Striegel Building, room 102 (classroom) and the WRBM Recreation Center pool. $270. The course is the first step to obtaining Professional Association of Diving Instructors (P.A.D.I.) certification and includes “snorkeling techniques, scuba equipment handling and maintenance, and scuba safety as well as the techniques required to scuba dive.” Scuba II is Feb. 23-24 at Utah’s Homestead Crater. $235. Students must “demonstrate mastery of performance requirements for four different open water dives to become a certified open water diver” through P.A.D.I.
