CNCC presidential finalist George in Rangely today for open forum

RANGELY | Dr. Nancy McCallin, president of the Colorado Community College System (CCCS), announced that she and Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) presidential finalist, Russell George, will conduct community forums at the Rangely and Craig campuses on Jan. 13. The announcement of George as the finalist was made on Jan. 4. Jan. 7 was the final day for current president, Dr. John Boyd. Boyd resigned late last year to take the position of president of Mayland Community College in North Carolina.
These forums are held to encourage members of the community to attend and hear George’s ideas for the future of the college and to give the attendees the opportunity to ask questions about those ideas and share their own. Attendees will be provided with feedback forms that they may complete and submit to CCCS for Dr. McCallin’s review.
The forum will take place in the Weiss Colorado Room starting at 10:30 a.m.
