RANGELY I Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is pleased to announce the receipt of two $10,000 grants, one from The Bacon Family Foundation (Grand Junction) and one from The Goodwin Foundation (Grand Junction).
The funds will support upgrades to physics, chemistry and biology equipment in the college’s newly renovated Rector Science Building. CNCC Grants Administrator Michael Melneck said, “We are sincerely grateful for these generous awards. Grants from foundation partners who value our work allow the college to stimulate and improve student success, refine course content delivery and grow CNCC’s capacities. This grant comes at a very exciting time in the life of the college and we’re most appreciative of what it can do for the college.”
