The Sept. 6 agenda began with a keynote presentation from Hal Bidlack, appearing as Alexander Hamilton (introduced by Maggie Coval, the executive director of Colorado Humanities).
The rest of the day’s agenda included four panel discussions with the CNCC Advisory Council, addressing five difficult questions that had been ranked and researched for the retreat.
The five questions were concerns from the Rangely and Craig campuses. The hour-long panel discussions included: the right size and sustainability of each campus; marketing and recruiting; evaluating new and existing instructional programs; impact of athletics; and housing scenarios on both campuses. Sunday’s agenda included the annual CNCC Foundation board meeting to wrap up the retreat weekend.
