Colorado State Fair Results for RBC Participants: 2014

PUEBLO | Rio Blanco County youth recently exhibited their skills, 4-H projects and livestock at this year’s Colorado State Fair with excellent results.

“It is indeed a high honor to place in the top 10 with a general project, but to win the Reserve Champion like Anthony Dorris with his shooting sports project is truly awesome,” Meeker’s CSU Extension Agent Bill Ekstrom said.
“Our livestock judging excellence was also recognized when Macy Collins, Samantha Lapp, Kenzie Turner and Madi Shults were named to the All-State Livestock Judging Team,” he said.
This year, several individuals exhibited their livestock projects with many making the livestock sale and placing in the top 10.
Macy Collins was champion in Breeding Heifer Intermediate Showmanship with Kolbi Franklin being the Reserve Champion Intermediate.
