Moon Lake Electric Association fed approximately 200 Rangely residents at an appreciation picnic at Elks Park on Thursday.
Although wind overturned a few of the camp chairs and plastic hard hats given out as gifts, attendees enjoyed the brisket and fixings MLEA employees dished out. ‘We do this to show people we appreciate their goodness, especially with the big (October storm) outage; everybody was so good about that,’ MLEA district manager Bob Kissling said. ‘We appreciate our customers, and this is our way to show that.’
