Concert series membership drive begins

CRAIG — The Craig Concert Association today announced the six artists selected for the 2008-2009 concert season.
Headlining the top professional roster of artists is the Synergy Brass Quintet, one of New England’s finest brass groups. They have toured all across the U.S., as well as London, Munich, Moscow, Vienna and Tokyo.
For Valentine’s Day 2009, treat your family to Robert Post, a brilliant comedian who combines dry humor with mime, juggling and unforgettable characters. He is an entire theater company himself.
The other exciting entertainers include the Frank Vignola Quintet, the three tenors of Romanza, Neal Hagberg’s Small Town Stories and the annual local talent show.
Association chair Faye McKune stated, “We are very proud of the caliber of talent we can bring to our area, and still keep season ticket prices at such a reasonable level. The continued support of our membership and sponsors allows us to offer these six performances for only $5 each! People would pay at least twice as much for performances by the same professional artists in a large metropolitan area — not to mention expenses saved on travel, lodging , meals and parking!”
Membership to the concert association is open to the public. Season memberships are offered at the reasonable prices of $30 for adults and $10 for students. Family, donor and patron memberships are available also.
Directors of the association point out that season membership is what guarantees the top quality entertainment each year.
