RANGELY | Due to an editor’s error, it was incorrectly reported in last week’s Herald Times that Caron Wakefield was arrested and charged with unlawful dispensing of a schedule II controlled substance.
According to the police report, on Jan. 21, Caron Wakefield, 36, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute a schedule II controlled substance, a class 3 felony; unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance less than 1 gram, a class 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class 2 petty offense.
Her husband, Karl Wakefield, 30, was also arrested and charged with unlawful dispensing of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), a class 3 felony; unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), less than 1 gram, a class 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class 2 petty offense.
The Wakefields were booked into the Rio Blanco County Detention Center in Meeker and released on bond.
