MEEKER I The community is invited to enjoy the many talents and accomplishments of our local and area crafters this Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds. It’s a great time to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays and handmade decorations for your family. Show times on Friday are 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Ladies Social Club of Meeker sponsors this yearly event.
We have a great variety of vendors this year. There will be many quality gifts, home décor, gift cards, gift bags and holiday decorations. Vendors will be selling furniture, repurposed items, antiques and collectables, stained glass, handmade jewelry, soaps and candles, crafts, horseshoe art, horsehair jewelry, sewn, crocheted and knitted items, original artwork, scrap book calendars, watches, baked goods and more. There will also be vendors selling Silpada jewelry, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Miche Bags, “31” purses, totes and accessories, Close to My Heart scrapbooking and stamping items, Usborne children’s books and Meeker Classic Sheepdogs will be selling posters and calendars. You name it, it will be there!
The Meeker Methodist Church youth will be serving food both Friday evening and Saturday to help fund their next youth trip. Plan to come for a home-cooked meal, and allow plenty of time for browsing and shopping while you’re there.
We hope you can attend our annual craft show this weekend. Get your Christmas shopping done as you support talented local crafters, spend time with friends and have a great meal.
