Simp Harp is now sole owner of the Colorado Stage & Transportation company and will operate the Meeker-Rifle stage line and branches in future. Simp is a hustler.

Sunday morning last was one of much joy in the household of Mr. and Mrs. Ewin Amick, when a twelve pound boy made his appearance. Dr. Bruner acted as master of ceremonies.

The space in a newspaper is a publisher’s stock in trade, just as shoes on the shelves of the shoe dealer are his stock in trade. Don’t expect the publisher to give you space free to further your selfish interests.

Wall Street Republicans and Wall Street Democrats are generally tarred with the same stick.

It was another successful year for Range Call activities, only this time it surpassed previous years’ attendance figures with over 3,599 tickets sold.

A six-member jury was unanimous in a decision in favor of co-defendants Re-4 School District and Noel Crown in District Court last week. The defendants had been sued for a sum in excess of $139,000 by Daniel Eddy through his father, Harold Eddy, on a claim of negligence in 1967 when the former was injured  while participating in physical education activities.
