– Simp Harp is now sole owner of the Colorado Stage & Transportation company and will operate the Meeker-Rifle stage line and branches in future. Simp is a hustler.
– Sunday morning last was one of much joy in the household of Mr. and Mrs. Ewin Amick, when a twelve pound boy made his appearance. Dr. Bruner acted as master of ceremonies.

– A six-member jury was unanimous in a decision in favor of co-defendants Re-4 School District and Noel Crown in District Court last week. The defendants had been sued for a sum in excess of $139,000 by Daniel Eddy through his father, Harold Eddy, on a claim of negligence in 1967 when the former was injured while participating in physical education activities.
