Dotson does it again

RANGELY — A year and a day after her first, June Dotson got her second hole-in-one. She’s been playing golf for 34 years.
Dotson aced the fourth hole on Vernal’s Dinaland Golf Course during women’s travel league play Friday, May 2. Using an eight iron, she sent her yellow Noodle ball flying and it hit in front of the green and rolled right into the cup, 108 yards later.
Dotson’s witnesses Lavella Justus, JoAnn Cowan and Denise Stringham watched it the whole way.
“Mayhem broke out for a few minutes,” Dotson said.
“At least 10 minutes,” teammate Justus explained.
Dotson also bought drinks for the two teams. “It was a lot of fun!”
