RBC — Monday, Oct. 6 was the last day to register to vote for the general election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Mail-in ballot applications (formerly known as absentee ballots) are available at the County Clerk’s office in Meeker (555 Main St./P.O. Box 1067, Meeker 81641) or at the Western Annex in Rangely (17497 Hwy 64). Applications are also available on the Clerk and Recorder page of the county Web site at www.co.rio-blanco.co.us. Applications for ballots to be mailed must be submitted or faxed (878-3587) by Tuesday, Oct. 28. Mail-in ballots may be picked up in person through Friday, Oct. 31.
Mail-in ballot applications must be personally signed by the applicant. Family members cannot apply for a ballot to be mailed to other family members.
Early voting is Monday, Oct. 20 through Friday, Oct. 31 at 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Fairfield Center in Meeker and the Western Annex in Rangely.
